The tutorial is weird, the rules are not written anywhere, and the game sometimes does this weird thing where it will accept a word, then change the letters to something else. For instance, the word “able” was changed to “rbqt”, which completely froze the game since the next player could not select the tiles, and the game would no longer accept the "word". This happens a lot. The game also rejects some common words and doesn’t allow short words so that you can never really make words in two directions at once.

Tried single player mode, but without any instructions, didn’t get too far. Made several words, but got no score. Support page doesn’t list Mac as one of the systems.
